Appellation Santenay - AOC

Santenay is an appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, France. Renowned for its robust red wines and elegant white wines, this wine-growing region encompasses approximately 340 hectares of vineyards. The red wines of Santenay, primarily crafted from Pinot Noir, are distinguished by their depth, aromas of red and black fruits, and subtle notes of undergrowth and spices. The white wines, made from Chardonnay grapes, offer beautiful minerality with hints of white flowers and stone fruits.
