Appellation Marsannay - AOC

The Marsannay appellation, with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, is emblematic of the prestigious Burgundy wine region in France. Situated at the gates of Dijon, Marsannay is distinguished by the diversity and richness of its terroirs, spread across three communes: Marsannay-la-Côte, Couchey, and Chenôve.

Marsannay wines are unique in their ability to produce all three wine colours: red, white, and rosé. The reds of Marsannay, primarily crafted from Pinot Noir, are renowned for their elegant structure, aromas of red and black fruits, and ageing potential. The whites, produced from Chardonnay, reveal fresh notes of citrus, white flowers, and dried fruits, testament to the mineral expression of their limestone terroirs. As for the rosés, also made from Pinot Noir, they are characterised by their freshness and appetising aromas of small red berries.
