Appellation Burgundy Vézelay - AOC

The Bourgogne Vézelay Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) is a hidden gem in the Burgundy region of France. Nestled in the charming landscape of the Vézelien, this AOC is renowned for its white wines, predominantly crafted from the Chardonnay grape variety. The vineyards spanning this small area benefit from a unique terroir composed of limestone and marl soils, giving the wines a pronounced minerality and distinct freshness.

Bourgogne Vézelay wines are characterised by their delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus and white-fleshed fruits. On the palate, they offer a lovely liveliness, complemented by a creamy texture and a subtle saline note on the finish.
