Château Hanteillan 2015 is a classic example of a Cru Bourgeois from Haut-Médoc, one of Bordeaux’s renowned subregions. This red wine is produced predominantly from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with possible additions of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, following the regional tradition. The 2015 vintage was marked by favourable weather, yielding wines with excellent ripeness and structure. Château Hanteillan’s vinification reflects a careful approach, typically involving temperature-controlled fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels, which imparts subtle spicy and toasty notes complementing the wine’s fruit and tannic structure.
