Surprisingly good for such an inexpensive wine. With camembert, a distinct chocolate flavour comes forward, and I also taste vanilla and a hint of tobacco on the nose. After an initial impression of sweet black fruit aromas (blackberries) and a touch of pepper, the palate is strikingly well balanced. According to the description, there are no tannins, though they were indeed present at first.
