The Valais is Switzerland’s largest winegrowing region, nestled amid dramatic Alpine landscapes. The terroir of Vétroz Grand Cru is particularly prized for its steep, south-facing slopes, where the soils are a rare mix of slate, limestone and alluvial deposits. This combination imparts a marked minerality and freshness to the wines and provides perfect drainage.
