Crafted primarily from old-vine Garnacha (Grenache), this cuvée is sourced from high-altitude, organically farmed plots. The grapes are hand-picked and vinified with minimal intervention, often employing whole-bunch fermentation and ageing in large, neutral oak vats, which allows the pure varietal character and the nuances of the soil to shine through. Vintage 2018 brought a balanced growing season, delivering expressive fruit with lifted aromatics and fresh acidity.

The region of Méntrida lies northwest of Toledo and is increasingly recognised for its exceptional Garnacha. Las Uvas de la Ira is a medium-bodied, aromatic Garnacha, marked by delicate red fruit—think wild strawberries and raspberries—alongside floral notes, fresh herbs, and a touch of white pepper. Its refined structure and subtle mineral edge make it a versatile partner at the table.
