The 2014 vintage in Burgundy was marked by a relatively cool and wet summer, followed by a warm and sunny September, which allowed grapes to ripen slowly and develop vibrant acidity alongside nuanced flavours. This wine is characterised by an alluring bouquet of ripe red cherries and wild strawberries, interlaced with hints of earth, truffle, and subtle spice. On the palate, it offers a medium body with fine, silky tannins, supported by fresh acidity and a delicate minerality, a hallmark of the region’s limestone-rich soils. The winemaking at Camus Père & Fils is respectful of tradition, allowing the terroir of Gevrey-Chambertin to shine through with judicious use of oak and careful tannin management.

Gevrey-Chambertin is one of the most respected appellations in the Côte de Nuits, itself renowned for producing some of the world’s finest Pinot Noir.
