Wines Côtes-de-bourg Château Lagrange - Emeraude - 2020

Beautiful deep purple robe with violet highlights, displaying excellent density. Primary nose of fresh, ripe red fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant). After swirling, the aromas develop into spicy, peppery notes. The palate is generous and full on the attack, with dense, well-ripened tannins; the alcohol brings a roundness to the mid-palate, and the finish is tannic (6 caudalies). A young, powerful wine that can be cellared.
