Heida, also known as Païen in French or Savagnin Blanc, is a distinctive white grape variety primarily cultivated in the Valais region of Switzerland. This noble variety is renowned for its pronounced aromatic complexity. The bouquet typically reveals vibrant notes of citrus, green apple, ripe pear, and white flowers, often underlined by mineral and slightly saline nuances.
