The grape variety Lambrusco Marani

Lambrusco Marani is a distinguished red grape variety historically rooted in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy, particularly thriving in the Reggio Emilia and Modena provinces. This grape yields wines celebrated for their lively, deeply coloured appearance and expressive, aromatic profile. On the nose, Lambrusco Marani typically displays vibrant notes of ripe red cherries, wild berries, and subtle undertones of violets and dried herbs, accompanied by a gentle mineral hint. The palate is well-rounded and fresh, characterised by moderate acidity, soft tannins, and a pleasantly persistent, fruity finish, occasionally complemented by a delicate fizz.
